Addie's First Sleepover

Last night Addie went on her first sleepover to Memaw and Papa's house. My sister picked her up on her way home from work and Addie will be staying for two nights. We somehow orchestrated the whole adventure to be Wyatt's "idea" so he wouldn't be upset, but he still ended up in tears when she departed. Cute...you'd think he was going to miss his sister. Ah, yes it would have been cute if he was in fact missing her. He really was just devastated that it wasn't his turn for a sleepover. Anyway, she seems to be having a great time and Wyatt has enjoyed his alone time with mom and dad. I've enjoyed being one kid fewer for the day so I could get a few things done like Lila's birthday party invitation which will feature this scrumptious little love! It's amazing I actually got a picture with two fewer hands in the reaching!

Love that boy!

Memory Lane

Well since I've apparently been on a blogging freeze, I figured it was about time to post pictures from let's say...Christmas!!! Hard to believe, but yes I am that behind! So I'll spare any words and let you get a glimpse of the kiddos from over the last few months. Can you believe my baby is almost one??? CRAZY!!! A few of my favorites are of the older kids up to no good! Wyatt and Addie emptied my couch cushions in order to "play in the clouds". I love the series at the end of the many faces of Wyatt James. They are so him. Never in the middle...always one extreme or the other! I love that boy. Addie has taken to dragon slaying with her brother's sword. She's convinced that most dinosaurs just want to have tea parties with her though. And Lila is just interested in whatever anyone else is. She loves playing on the furniture "pirate ships" with Addie and Wyatt. One of the pics is from the kids having room time. I always have a little potty in the room in case of emergencies and I came in to find that Wyatt and Addie had been "potty training" baby Lila. She is so content with whatever we want her to do! The pie baby is even taking a few steps at a time!
